Senior Wellness Care

Many of our pets are living longer, and we recognize that the earlier in a disease process we can make a diagnosis and start a treatment, the better the outcome.  Establishing a baseline of your pet’s health is an added benefit and can ultimately help your pet should there be any changes, even small ones to your pet’s health.  Even if your pet seems perfectly healthy, regular wellness check ups are important or manage many of the changes associated with aging.

Our Senior Care Program can provide a means to target age related health problems, institute preventative health care measures, and detect any disorders early enough to provide appropriate medical treatment.  Pets can be the most rewarding when they reach middle or old age.  They’ve been your companion for many years and have a special routine with you.  Maintaining the health of your senior pet is part of your mutually beneficial relationship and can provide both of you with many more years of love and companionship.  Along with a complete nose to tail general physical exam, we also recommend the following diagnostic tests:
