At your visits for your puppy, we will do a full comprehensive examination. We will check eyes, ears, skin, listen to the heart, check for hernias and joints. We will examine the stool for parasites such as HOOKWORMS, ROUNDWORMS, WHIPWORMS, and COCCIDIA to name a few.
- Your puppy starts vaccinations at 6 weeks, then continues to get them at 9 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks of age. The vaccinations are to help protect against common and potentially dangerous and life threatening diseases.
- When the puppy series are finished, your pet will need to start HEARTWORM PREVENTION and update vaccinations yearly. Your pet will be tested for blood borne diseases such as heartworm disease at their semi-annual check up and tested yearly thereafter.
